Is This You?

You’re in your twenties or thirties or just young at heart.  You’re very rad.  You’re interested in healing the world and seeing it evolve.  You’re interested in dreams and magic and transcendence and new ways of being. You’ve never really fit in anywhere, and that hurts because you are, essentially, a social creature who wants recognition and connection.

You’ve got some major talent that’s hard to hide, but you don’t always know how best to shine that talent.  You have people in your life who are very dear to you, but sometimes it’s a struggle just to get along with those people who you love so much.

You occasionally feel intensely stressed out and a little bit persecuted by a world that seems hell-bent on making you feel like you’re too weird and not good enough.

To deal with this stress you find yourself sometimes turning to a host of behaviors that don’t ultimately feel good: over-eating, smoking, over-caffeinating– just to name a few on the top of the list.  At some points you’ve also sought out attention from people who ended up being bad for you.

You realize that planet earth is overall a really crazy place to be right now.  It’s not easy to make a living and it seems like all the advice and promises from people of your parents’ generation (“Get a great education and you’ll get a great job!” “Voting makes things better!”) were a bunch of useless lies.

You don’t care about making a ton of money or having a picture-perfect romance – you just want to know who you are and how to show up for your gifts and how to be in your relationships right now in a way that’s meaningful and real and fun.
